A: This project team adores Jindabyne. The major project partner is Brother Nature - an almost-local design and build team committed to climate-considerate, high-performance buildings with plenty of proven success in the region.
-
A: Jindabyne Lakeside is designed for long-term living, not just seasonal stays. With its location close to town, strong building performance, and integration with local trails and amenities, the homes are well-suited for year-round life in the Snowy Mountains.

A. Access to the foreshore in front of the Lakeside site will remain unaffected during and after construction. However, as part of our commitment to safety, we will be fencing our site to limit any potential hazards and maintain a secure environment for the community using Pooh Bay during the construction phase. Please note that this precautionary measure will render walking, riding and driving tracks within the site inaccessible. Stay informed about project updates by registering to Stay in the Loop.

A: We are committed to maintaining public access to the lake as well as bike and walking paths that do not enter within our boundary. Unfortunately we do need to remove access to informal trails that fall within or cross through our boundary. Whilst this is an unfortunate reality during construction, we look forward to re-opening public access to our site, especially the exciting community park which will provide beautiful and convenient links to existing trails.
Copper Tom Trail - no ongoing affect to access - this trail runs closer to the lake than our boundary.
PLEASE NOTE: There may be a short time period (around 1 week) where access is interrupted to one small section of the trail. This is being managed with SMRC and TRC Trails to ensure minimal impact.
Lake Jindabyne Shared Community Trail - unaffected, as it sits outside our site boundary near the lake.
“Pinos”, “Pinoland” - all informal walking and bike trails through the existing pine forest will be inaccessible for the duration of construction. Upon completion, bike and pedestrian access through this area will be reestablished.
-
A: Yes—a new public park is planned at the foreshore, alongside shared green spaces throughout the site and improved walking/cycling connections to nearby trails.

A. The non-native pine trees currently on site are being carefully removed. While their age and condition limits their reuse potential, we’re working with local partners on a sustainable solution—such as timber pallet production or biomass recovery.
In line with our green-over-grey approach, the site will be extensively revegetated with native species. We’re also exploring partnerships to support native tree planting elsewhere in the region.
If you're interested in contributing to the re-use of these trees, please reach out to our team.
-
A. We understand that construction can be inconvenient. However, we use modern, efficient construction methods to keep noise and disruption to a minimum.
-
A. Lakeside's neighbours will enjoy enhanced views of the lake and surroundings. We are committed to transparent communication, ensuring that neighbours and the local community are well-informed about any disruptions for which we are responsible. The best way to stay informed is to register to Stay in the Loop.
-
A. Yes—there will be plenty of on-site parking for Lakeside residents and their guests. Parking for public lake access is not part of this project.
-
A. We’re exploring year-round local rentals to house workers who can’t be sourced locally. If you’d like to offer accommodation, please get in touch.
